1 - Thank you for posting it.. Wegesha.. i would really appericate it if u guys post about Kunatrote(Hemorroid) and other disease definitions in Amharic.. For instance.. i dont know what is Kukucha ( A type of skin disease mostly appears around the neck). I have been asked by most Abesha people not knowing what to call it in English or Amharic..
The other thing.. why not health issues ?

I have also been looking for Amharic words for pills, therapy, etc.. that will not be confused with medicine (medhanit) which infers there being a cure at the end. Also in the line up are amharic words for virus, bacteria, retrovirus, etc..

Another section is how to name genital body parts without sounding like a ‘duriye’. I thought refering them as 'negeru', 'negeriyew' etc... and using english words were barriers to open discussion. I think that the presence of correct amharic words would give way to open/frank discussion and less confusion. (Comment this)

4 - I would like to add one more question to the above listed by STG and Moseb. Where do we get the word "sega" to denote the act of pleasuring oneself? (Comment this)

5 - The word sega puzzled me once when i heard it from an abesha guy stating sega eyematahu new.. which was new to me by then. I had to ask him the meaning.. to my surprised, i found out that sega is masturbation.. I am not sure if most abeshas are aware of the word.. I didnt until recently..
Anyway.. I usually have a hard time interpereting medical terms..such as pain , stroke , Diabetes sign and symptoms and so on..
FYI.. check AmharicDictgionary.com.. I found that site very helpful.
