I have not been able to export the comments to the new site but working on it.

4 - Take a look at Word Press. Esp if you're using a CMS (like Drupal) to manage your new site. More customizable and powerful that blogger...I believe you can import your comments too. (Comment this)

5 - My apologies.. the above comment(4) was written before I had a chance to take a look at the new site. Good work... I would suggest a different template and a more readable font. Last but not least an XML feed so we can subscribe to the goodness that is aqumada.
